These terms govern access to the Zalewski Advisory website and client portal. They are intended to set the baseline rules for use of the site, the secure enquiry workflow, and the portal workspace.

They do not replace project-specific written quotes, statements of work, confidentiality terms, or other engagement documents.

1. Operator and scope

The website and related client portal are operated by Wojciech Zalewski, trading as TheLocalApp, under the Zalewski Advisory brand. These terms apply to public website use, secure enquiry threads, portal access, and general use of the related online workspace.

2. No automatic professional engagement

  • Browsing the site, sending an enquiry, receiving an email reply, or opening a portal account does not by itself create a binding professional-services engagement.
  • A live assignment begins only when scope, timing, fees, confidentiality expectations, and acceptance are confirmed in writing.
  • Where a project-specific quote, statement of work, email acceptance, invoice arrangement, or signed agreement exists, that project-specific document takes priority over these website terms.

3. Eligibility, accounts, and security

  • You must provide accurate information when using contact forms or creating a portal profile.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and verification codes secure.
  • You must notify Zalewski Advisory promptly if you believe your portal access has been compromised.
  • Access to some parts of the portal may be role-limited to clients, partners, contractors, or admin users.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the site or portal unlawfully, abusively, or in a way that interferes with the service or other users.
  • Do not attempt unauthorised access, scraping, credential misuse, reverse engineering of secure workflows, or introduction of malicious code.
  • Do not upload material you do not have the right to share.

5. Enquiries, portal content, and client materials

You retain responsibility for the lawfulness, accuracy, and completeness of information, documents, and instructions you submit. Zalewski Advisory may rely on client-supplied materials and context when preparing translations, interpreting support, or project communications.

6. Confidentiality and secure handling

The website and portal are designed to support confidential professional workflows. However, particularly sensitive projects may require separate confidentiality terms, secure-transfer instructions, and formal written engagement before materials should be shared in full.

7. Intellectual property

  • The site design, branding, copy, workflow structure, and original platform materials remain the property of Zalewski Advisory or its licensors.
  • Client-supplied materials remain the responsibility and property of the client or their licensors, subject to the limited rights needed to deliver the requested service.
  • You may not reproduce, scrape, republish, or commercially exploit site or portal material without permission, except where this is necessary for your own internal project use.

8. Availability and feature changes

The site and portal may be updated, restricted, or changed from time to time. While continuity is intended, uninterrupted availability, instant message delivery, or permanent access to every feature cannot be guaranteed.

9. Fees, quotes, and invoices

Fees, delivery windows, payment terms, and acceptance criteria are project-specific. Unless a written engagement confirms otherwise, website and portal content should not be treated as a binding price list or automatic service commitment.

10. Reliance and liability

  • Website content is general service information and should not be treated as legal, tax, regulatory, or investment advice.
  • Clients remain responsible for reviewing final deliverables before signature, filing, publication, or operational reliance.
  • To the extent permitted by law, Zalewski Advisory is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from site use, portal downtime, or reliance on general website information.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or removed where reasonably necessary for security, misuse prevention, legal compliance, expired engagement status, or material breach of these terms or of project-specific written terms.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights that apply in the user's home jurisdiction. Questions about these terms can be sent to private@zalewskiadvisory.com.

This website legal pack is a practical operational draft for the current Zalewski Advisory site and portal. It should be updated if the trading entity, registered address, jurisdictions, payment setup, or service model changes.
